New collections from William Yeoward for Designers Guild

William Yeoward returns with new collections Manton and Exmere which encapsulate the essence of the English countryside.

As William explains: “The seascape of my childhood illustrated in my Polperro collections led me to turn inland. These two collections tell a country story that looks the four seasons clearly in the eye and depicts these emotions through colour.”

William Yeoward – furniture and wallpaper

A collection of prints and weaves born of the landscapes and textures of the English countryside, Exmere captures the furrowed earth tones of the autumn season, and the atmosphere of a comfortable chair by a wood fire. Richly textured stripes, simple checks, and inviting prints make for an altogether agreeable atmosphere.

Manton captures the sapphire skies and red hedgerow berries of the brighter seasons, and the atmosphere of a brisk walk in the crisp air. Richly textured stripes, versatile checks, and inviting prints make for an altogether invigorating atmosphere.

Woven in a traditional fashion, and inspired by Yeoward’s collection of vintage pieces from 19th century European and British sources. Broad, narrow, thick and fine, these Polperro marine stripes are suitable throughout the house.

The linen stripes and lovely soft handle of St Mawes make it perfect for blinds, table covers and draperies.

Capturing the spirit of the Cornish coastline, St Ives is a destination book of striped wallcoverings. Smart or relaxed, broad or fine, textured or plain, this collection is exciting and versatile in its themes.
